Comments for Planet P Project, Planet P ProjectE-MAIL: eliotTwist@sssnet.com One of my alltime favorite lps.Not a bad song on it.This album features a couple of songs not sung by Tony. As a tribute to Tony Carey my band "Elliot Twist" does a cover of "Why Me?" My idea,I,m the keyboard player(inspired by Tony).E-MAIL: ithomas@lucy.swin.edu.au With its stylish synthesiser/keyboard/drum machine music and its imaginative science fiction themes, this eponymous Planet P Project album has plenty to recommend it. Tony Carey is the singer/keyboard-player behind it all, but he sensibly features guests on guitars, drums and even David Thomas on lead vocals, on "Only You and Me." Carey's own voice can get a bit whiney sometimes and occasionally the music can sound repetitive or under-produced, but this doesn't detract from the wit and quality of such gems as "Why Me?" and "Power Tools." An acquired taste possibly, but full of inventiveness. (Ian C. Thomas)E-MAIL: hakan.svard@sala.se So far my best record!!! 10!!!
