Comments for Burning Sensations, Burning Sensations

Burning Sensations are a group of six musicians led byex-Motels/The Pop guitarist, Tim McGovern. Their musicis a combination of Reggae, Clipso, and the alternative musicof the 1980`s that is brought to life by the creative use of guitarsynthesizers. Their unique sound combined with strong musicianshipand songwriting helped classify this band as one of the decade`s bestand most creative groups. Over all, the album is excellent and includescovers of C.C.R. (track 7) and Jimi Hendrix (track 8)andtheir biggest hit "Belly Of The Whale" which also had agreat video. A year after the release of this album, B.S.released the hilarious "Pablo Picasso" which was featuredon the Repo Man motion picture soundtrack.

I have been trying to buy a copy of this release since 1987. If any one has one to sell or knows where I can get one please let me know.

I have both their album and EP, I still listen to them today. I like to think that they were ahead of their time musically. They were also awesome in concert. I know it's wishful thinking, but hope that they try to get together again someday.
