Comments for Jewel, Pieces of you

Jewel is my favorite. Some of her songs get really old fast, though.

jewel's song you were meant for me is so powerful to me. i sit and sing it for hours. shes beautiful and great.

I think that Jewel is really good singer but not really my type.

Jewel has come a long way, from living in a van, and stealing food, to being nominated for 2 Grammys. Look for her new album due out in early March'97. No title as of yet.

All the Jewel fans out there should have every song memorized right about now.And those that don't will by the time the next album comes out. Rumor has it, the company doesn't think Pieces of You's time is up yet, and is delaying the release until fall of 97, or possibly even a full year until March 1998. Fans should write or E-mail the record company and tell them they should release the album as soon as possible, while she still has the Grammy hype. Otherwise, Jewel is going to quickly fall into the category of artist (like Alannis or Loeb), where just hearing "that old song" is going to make you want to throw your stereo out the window. For that matter, most fans already know most of the songs she will have on the new album already, as we have heard them in concert. The company should wise up...or Bootlegs are going to become VERY popular. By the way, My favorite on this album is PAINTERS, which has got to be the most romantic song I have ever heard.

Jewels great, no doubt about that but it seems like she has something to hide. I just can't believe shes as goody-goody as appears to be but I could be wrong. My favorite tracks are "I'm Sensitive", "Pieces Of You", "You Were Meant..." and "Foolish Games".

Foolish games is so rich, sad and beautiful. One of my favorites.

I would say her "Foolish Games" is the best of all.... although it may somehow get you back into "you were meant for me " , I still think this song''s NUMBER ONE !....
