Comments for The Wonder Stuff, Construction For The Modern Idiot

E-MAIL: andrewb.itex@norfolk.gov.uk
Oh come on! This album is the finest of the four! On The Ropes is amazing, and Sing The Absurd (with the ending bit - listen and you'll know what I mean) just makes me want to play it all through again! Also, Rob Jones aka The Bass Thing died before Never Loved Elvis, and so they didn't fall apart because of that.

I agree with the bloke from norfolk - this album may not be the same as the earlier albums, but instead it shows some maturity, and it''s my favourite. Cabin Fever is by far the best on the album, but the tracks such as On The Ropes, and The Great Drinker give this album something that none of the previous ones ever had.
Sadly, the 4th and last album by the great Wonder Stuff. They sort of fell apart after their bass player The Bass Thing died before this album was made. This is album was not up to the standards they set before, but it still had some excellent tracks.
