Comments for Wallace, Sippie, Sippie

Sippie`s comeback album, Bonnie Raitt is a guest on a couple of tracks. Sippie performs some of her old favorites plus some newer songs, all ably backed by Jim Dapogny`s Chicago Jazz Band. Her voice isn`t as strong as it once was, but she suffered a stroke years before, and she was 84 years old when she made this album. She still kicks after all these years, with her usual bawdy lyrics and unique phrasing.
