Comments for Gentle Giant, Octopus

A first rate recording which shows off to best advantage this multi-faceted, multi-instrumental band. I can''t recommend the Nippon Phonogram CD (PHCR-4203) release highly enough. It is the one to get.

My favorite album of theirs of all the ones I own. The first five tracks are all incredibly classic, but the last three are a little weaker. River ranks with the first side however.
