This has to be the best CCM debut I`ve heard in a long time. What a voice -- at times she evokes Christine Dente(Out of the Grey), other times Bonnie Raitt or even Ann Wilson (Heart). The material`s great, too -- obviously her yearsas a demo singer have refined her tastes. You get the sense she was intimately involved in every aspect of this release -- she wrote or co-wrote four out of the ten cuts. Most of these songs have great hooks -- you won`t be able to shake "Hands Tied" for days.You`ll also find the lyrics running through your head -- just listen to "When Love Gave His Heart Away".One of the best CDs I`ve bought this year, and one that will live in my CD carousel for a while. Get this one quick!
