Comments for The Sea and Cake, The Fawn

This is a bit of a departure from previous Sea and Cake albums. This time, the sound is more ambient than easy-listening, and the addition of the drum machine on some songs is an interesting change from John McEntire`s excellent percussive skills. With this album, they continue to tread new ground in the Chicago music world.
