Truly one of the most gifted vocalists of the modern pop era. How sad it is that she's so overlooked. This album is rock, pop, jazz, and a torch song called "Stop" that will make you want to rip your heart out. Stunning.

the best album of ''88. stunning lyrics, melodies, and diverse music. How did someone so young, produce such diverse music, yet have it gel and work so well. 11 years on it is still one of the best albums in my collection. Touring with Pink floyd was a great opportunity, but when are we going to get a new album, or better still an album and a tour of her own? Too little of her music does not do her huge talent the justice it deserves!!!
