Comments for Brubeck, Dave, Nightshift

Recorded in 1993 at the Blue Note in New York`s Greenwich VillageThe quartet for the first part of the Blue Note Engagement - Brubeck, bassist Jack Six, drummer Randy Jones, and reedman Bobby Militello - was augmented on the last night by a couple of people Dave has known for a long time. The trombone solos are from his number three son Chris. The Clarinet work is by Bill Smith who has been a colleage of Brubeck`s since 1946. Smith was an orignal member of Dave Brubeck`s octet.
