Comments for Ruffelle, Frances, Stranger To The Rain (Single)

Track taken from the musical CHILDREN OF EDEN. The track is more pop/radio friendly then the version used in the show. The single was produced by Gary Langan & Anne Dudley (Art of Noise). It was also written by Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin). The other track on the CD, "In Another Life" was not in the musical, just an extra pop song performed by Ms. Ruffelle and produced by Rod Argent and Peter Van Hook.

Possibly Frances' best song ever, this was released from the soundtrack to Children of Eden, a short-lived (though brilliant) West End musical that she starred in in 1991. Its a brilliant song, haunting and profain, and really sends shivers dowbn your spine. Unfortunately, it is VERY hard to get hold of, and I would be VERY grateful if anyone out there had one
