Comments for Raissa, Meantime

Raissa consist of lead singer Raissa Khan-Panni (also Keyboards, along with Dan Birch (Programming) and Paul Sandrone (Guitars, Bass & Keyboards). There sound is very trip-hop/pop and quite good. Raissa sounds like a cross between early Kate Bush and The Cranberries.

Raissa has one of the best voices i have ever heard,and i have heard a hell of a lot of them.The musicianship on this album is fantastic also.This CD is never long out of my player.Get yourself a copy and find out why.

This second album by Raissa is fantastic. The songs that really stand out have got to be the awesome 'Green As Sea' and the catchy 'Your Summertime' but that doesn't mean the others are not of high quality! Each song has it's own distinct sound and the lyrics have been very well thought out. For those people who have never heard anything by Raissa before this is the album to buy first out of the three. Once you have heard this one you will want to own the other two, unless you like listening to crap like garage and techno... But for those people who are after great 'music' then this belongs in your CD collection or more likely...in your CD player!!! It's just a complete mystery to me why Raissa is such an under-rated artist...

After listening to this album countless times I think that the best song is "We are Nowhere" - I love the lyrics to it. But Your Summertime and Green as Sea should have been big hits.
