Together with guitarist Paul Sandrone and DJ Dan Birch singer Raissa made a record full of beautiful portishead-like (triphop) beats. The greatest feature however is Raissa`s beautiful voice. She can easily compare with colleagues like Tori Amos, Heather Nova and/or Bjork."

This wonderful album contains my favourite Raissa song of all time 'The Beach' and with the dreamy 'Sunrise' this album just oozes quality in bucket-loads! Raissa has a voice that I have fallen in love with and anybody who appreciates great singing will find themselves lost when they listen to her music! When she sings high she truely does sound like an angel - if you don't believe me then just listen! There are a couple of decent instrumental songs on this album but even though they are pretty good you just find yourself wanting to hear Raissa singing to them!Unfortunately this is the main reason it doesn't quite get the crown for the best Raissa album out of the three! The later albums 'Meantime' and 'Believer' sound more complete but you can't really have those two without this one! If you just get this album for that one song 'The Beach' then it will be worth the effort...trust me...after hearing it you will be hooked! Maybe soon people will begin to recognise just how excellent and talented Raissa really is and we will be blessed with a forth album...
