Idaho is that strange cross between alternative rock and doom metal. Very slow, doomy passages that are also dreamy as well. There really isn't any other band like this in the genre. The moody alternative male singing vocals might put you off, but when you hear the heavy, crushing doom metal guitars, it adds an extra weight and dimension to this music, definitely file under good bud smoking tunes. Not for those into commercial music, but if you want something different, melodic AND heavy, go for this. Doing stoner rock before the genre became popular.
