Comments for Roach, Steve - Michael Stearns - Ron Sunsinger, Kiva

If you`re a fan of Steve Roach`s soundscapes, you`re going to want this one. Generally not as percussive as other Roach work, "Kiva" is quieter and more ambient (possibly due to the influence of Stearns/Sunsinger). Each one of the three "initiates" a "Kiva" (East=Stearns, South=Sunsinger,West=Roach), with all three "creating" the last "Kiva" (North).There`s some Native American chant in the mix, as well as some decidedly un-Native American "space music."
