Alternative continues to live! Nice diversity in sound on this cd. Varies from pure pop ("semi-charmed life") to blues rock ("i want you") to heavy metal reminiscent of Led Zeppelin ("good for you") to folk ("motorcycle drive by"). Don't be fooled by the music, the lyrics are heavy and serious.

3rd Eye Blind is wimpy soft rock bullshit--Fuck them and the Oasis bandwagon they road in on!

Although I enjoy some of the songs I was wondering if anyone knew... Does the lead singer have a lisp or something? This is not a slam, I'm just curious....Jade/Ft. Laud Florida

It's a shame that Matchbox 20 lead singer Rob Thomas hates Third Eye Blind and has a grudge against 3EB lead singer Stephan Jenkins, because they're both really good bands. Of course, Third Eye Blind is much, much better. Do you know how refreshing it is to be able to listen to an album all the way through --- REPEATEDLY --- and not have to skip through several lame tracks to find just two or three good songs that stop sounding good over time anyway? That's how you'll probably feel when you listen to this album, because it's just so unbelievaly GOOD. Stephan Jenkins and Kevin Cadogan supply awesome vocals and guitar and lyrics that actually have DEPTH, Arion Salazar turns in great bass work, and Brad Hargreaves' drums rock. Be sure to check out the singles "Semi-Charmed Life," "How's it Going to Be," "Graduate," "Jumper," and "Losing a Whole Year"; and the non-singles that are also great: "The Background," "God of Wine," "I Want You," "Motorcycle Drive By," etc. THIS ALBUM IS GREAT!

I love third eye blind and especially stephan jenkins, he is so hot and is a very talented musician. I can't wait till their next album.

Third Eye Blind is an awesome band. "God Of Wine" and "Motorcycle Drive-By" mean a lot to me because of some things I''ve been through recently. My best friend played "God Of Wine" for me telling me she wished that I could be "clean again." And after my boyfriend broke up with me, "Motorcycle Drive By" made perfect sense to me. This album has a lot of variety and will keep your ears listening.

Third Eye Blind is shocking, it's not just the lisp, it's just annoying. Try listening o some real bands. Try Shihad (Pacifier).
