A beautiful, moody masterpiece, taking everything that made The Zombies wonderful to the next level. Exquisite harmonies, minor key melodies, exellent (and still restrained) playing. What a crime that, starting with the third album, Argent began the slide down the slippery slope of ELP keyboard excess. They were wonderful until then.

A great debut album. Not really progressive yet. Very strong , lyrical songs. Rod Argent still playing keyboards at this point. Stepping Stone is the masterpiece.
