Late `80s high-tech dance/pop at its very best. All the songs are energy-driven and soaked in hooks, and some of them are very good. Very well made album; full of pizzazz. Paula's voice is not amazing but it is really cute and perfect for this music, being clear and sassy. One nice addition is the sweet little ballad "Next To You". Also features huge hits like the #1 "Straight Up", "Cold-Hearted", "The Way That You Love Me", etc. An essential album in the genre.
