The MA`s fourth and final album was, for all intents and purposes,a posthumous release -- the band members were scatteredthroughout the country, and these songs were sitting on a shelfwhen they were discovered and released. A good thing, too. Thoughnot quite the success "Blusher" was, "Ledger" nonetheless showcaseseverything the MA`s were about. Dreamy, atmospheric songs that ebband flow effortlessly, taking the listener from place to place before he even knows he`s moved. And, as songs like "Sheen" demonstrate, theMA`s can rock, too -- Manny Diez` guitar deserves a lot of thecredit for the smoothness of these mood shifts.
