Comments for Nebel, Steve & Kristi, Out of the Tangled Years

This is an eclectic little package. It starts out with the novelty tune, "Listening to Music with the Vaccuum Cleaner On," perfect for Dr. Demento or college radio station programming. "I Stay At Home All Day" is an angry rock`n`roll rant from a dissatisfied housewife. "Sorority Girls" is a droll sendup to white-girl singers like Leslie Gore. My favorite is the Carribean-flavored "Throwaways": its` lyrics limn the plight of the homeless with sympathy and candor. Material ranges from rock to pop, with some folk thrown in for good measure.
