I despised the byrds for this album when it was first released. "what are the BYRDS doing this country crap for?" This album has been THE definitive turning point in my personal musical history. I placed a poster of the album cover for " Sweethearts" in the wall of my dining room before i sheetrocked it. For purity of concept and sheer balls, i give this album a 9.5

This is the one of the greatest "Folk Rock" albums.
