Aya deals with the spirit of brotherhood. "Find a Better Way" just won third placein the Canadian National Songwriter`s Competition (Oct`94).Ottawa based band, formed 1991. Release date Nov 1994.

Oh man, I miss these guys! I remember their great open-air gigs in the Byward Market (Ottawa, Ontario), where they mostly played the best U2 covers and a few of their own. You could usually find them near the beaver tail stand. I guess I first saw them in '92 and I just loved their energy and being a massive U2 fan as well we had an immediate connection. Eventually, they landed some indoor gigs and finally put "Aya" out.I moved away from the Ottawa area in 1994 and I haven't seen or heard of them since. They may remember me, since I scored Suren and Alan tickets to the Zoo TV show. It was a pleasure to share the music. I hope they are all well. Cheers!

I played with Sean Campbell on several occasions since you saw him. I am in fact looking for him, right now I am in Afghanistan. He helped organize the Canadian Idol group in Ottawa and he is on the music scene again in several nightclubs. I had to leave suddenly for Afghanistan so if you see him around give him my address. I also met the bass player and keyboardist for the group and they are doing another project together. I heard thier stuff and it was great.

I have been searching for an old friend for several years now and finally just thought of byward mayhem. I'm searching for Surin because he is best friends with the guy I'm actually looking for and they moved to L.A. together in 1997. Anybody have any clue what Surins last name is? or even if he's still in the states? oh ya and they rocked! I still have photos from a gig they played!
