this is an incredible album.
This album was a collaboration between 4 incredibly talented San Francisco Bay Area musicians. Art Alexakis, Jeff Krebs, Kim Rohrbach and Kyle Statham. Art writes the songs Separation and ? (The Gay Bar Song). While Jeff writes the songs Hey Chuck, Dont Let The Door Hit You, Last Goodbye and Throw It Away. While Kim adds the spooky song, Chicken. The rest of the album is a delightful mix of covers. Hank Williams would be proud of the Hoes rendition of Poor Red Georgia Dirt and Lost Highway. Their covers of bluegrass standards In The Pines and On The Rock (Where Moses Stood) are as good as any other version and can hoedown with the best of them. While their cover of the AC/DC hit You Shook Me will leave you scratching your head in disbelief that a song like that could even be pulled off that way. Basically this is an album chock full of great cryin' in yer beer music.
