Catolog No 8362322 Do you realize that on the tracks Song 2 tender years and song 6 wild summer nights are replaced by mockingbird and runaway. the latter song were not in the movie. contrary to what cynics say, Mr. Springsteen did not own the patent on good-time, impassioned rock n roll music. Where "On the Dark Side" is simply stated, lyrically , it is more direct than simple. "Tender Years" and "Wild Summer Nights" may be amongst my all-time favorite rock n roll lyrics, for the imagery (..."salted kisses in the sand"....."all the kids are faking that they'll never get old....."..)...their music is as impassioned and sincere as rock n roll should be.

Okay...tell me the truth.Was there ever a REAL band called "Eddie & The Cruisers"?Or was that a made up name by the John Cafferty Band?
