Comments for Jeffreys, Garland, Escape ArtistGJ`s Epic and 80s debut is one of his best LPs. His confessional, politically charged singer-songwriter attack is made more accessible and entertaining by backing from the Rumour and the E Street Band. The last four songs were part of a 4-track 7" EP issued with the original disc of reggae/ska songs cut from the LP. The reverent "Jump Jump" is probably one of the finest songs he`s written. "Innocent" was previously released in a superior version as "Innocent, Not Guilty" on the TIMES SQUARE soundtrack.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
