Probably their most exploratory record. A lot of it is improvisatory and hard to get into but - tracks 2,3,4, & 7 are worth any price, believe me. Again there is a Miles Davis influence. You just must hear the gentle pulse of track 2 & the minimal groove of track 3 if you're at all interested in "progressive" music. If you like deep rhythms, Miles and Can are the stuff.

This album continues in much the same vein as their previous album Tago Mago, but much more refined. Probably their best album from their early seventies period.
`Spoon` was the soundtrack for a German TV film and broughtCan their one chart success. They named their record company after this title.
