Comments for Candlebox, Candlebox

Has anyone else seen these guys live??? I saw them at woodstock and live on mtv and I was very disappionted. It seems like lyrics like these should be sung with some feeling and not just spoken.

I have not seen them live, but would love to... Was told they kicked a** in Chicago. One of the strongest debuts I have enjoyed in quite a few years...

I saw them live in Baltimore in 1993 (or maybe 94'). They showed alot of emotion that particular night. Numerous encores and covers.

This piece of shit is one of the most overrated albums I have ever heard. Don't these songs all sound the same? If I want emotion I'll listen to Pearl Jam.

Candlebox are wonderful and their album is brilliant. I drove my family crazy when I bought the album .. I just wish I could get to see them live.

I'm always depressed when people write Candlebox off as not talented. Their lyrics are poetry, and you appreciate their music more each time you listen to them. I'm glad that this album is not overpopular, like Pearl Jam for instance, because it's art, not a commercial.

Hey,,, I've seen Candlebox twice live and they were two of the best shows I have ever seen I will see them again sometime in the first of Aug, 96.. The song Blossom from the first album is the most well sang songs ever.. the lyrics are perfect and I can relate to that song so well,, Pearl Jam is my fav. band though,, Ed Vedder's voice and his lyrics are alike no other,, these two bands have saved me from killing myself through my childhood,, people need to listen then judge not judge then listen... Hi, I´m Aafke from the Netherlands and I think Candlebox is the best . I saw them live in the Milkyway (Melkweg) in Amsterdam September '95 . They were so fantastic, he even sang the last song (Blossom) for me! I can´t wait untill they´re coming back to the Netherlands. Untill then I´ll listen to their music every day !

all i have to say is its poetically satisfying. its about time 4 artistically talented people can express their abilities through their music, and have it come out as beautiful as theirs has. thank you guys!

whoever wrote previously about Candlebox not exhibitng any emotion live obviously has not been to a show himself. i have seen them 4 times, and I am not afraid to say that they put on the most emotionally charged show i have ever seen, and i have seen everybody live.

I love Candlebox.....they are one of the many bands on my #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to see them in concert, but unfortunatley I have not yet.........but the time will come when they will come to my neck of the woods, and I will get to see them perform live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never seen Candlebox live, but if they ever come here you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be the first one with a ticket to the show. Their first album was great, but to me their last album Happy Pills beats all of them. The songs 10,000 Horses, Blinders, It''s Alright, A Stone''s Throw Away, and especially Sometimes are all great. More people should listen to this album for themselves to see how great it is. It is definitely an underrated album. I guarantee you----one listen to it and you will love it.

The newest of the Seattle bands, Candlebox shows more promise than Nirvana did when they started out. Not as raw as Nirvana, but had almost as much energy in concert (in Milwaukee, WI). Songs that are recomended...Far Behind, You, Change, and Cover Me.-MEP
