Classic Windy City anthemn - Lake Shore Drive aka LSD is a quick trip thru the Chicago city. Album is a pleasent surprise to the non-Chi-towners and a memory road for those truely alive in the late seventies.

nice tune, but even considering any supposed Chicago background of theirs, I find it hard to believe that this song is actually about Lake Shore Drive.

Well anyone who has been to chicago knows the Goldcoast!

"starts up north at Hollywood, water on the driver's side", Lake Shore Drive begins it's 7 mile journey at Hollywood Ave, and heads south, with Lake Michigan on the left, the driver's side. "concrete mountains throwing shadows just about 5", that would be 5pm when the apartment buildings on the westside of the drive cast their long shadows on the park and the roadway. It's classic Chicaog, about beautiful Lake Shore Drive.
