Comments for Raitt, Bonnie, Bonnie Raitt

This album accents mostly the blues side of Bonnie, which is good because it shows just how sincere she was towards her love of the blues that enabled her to cover it without falling into parody. Although she wouldn't come into her own as a songwriter until NICK OF TIME, Bonnie does contribute two originals to this album, as well as covers of more modern songs by Stephen Stills & The Marvelettes.
