This is a great box set (4 CDs)...The compilation features recordings from 1965 - 1982. There are many tracks here that you've never heard -- "garage" recordings, radio interviews, and TV jingles.

Karen lives on, through her beautiful music. This is a great box set. But then, they never did anything that wasn't great.

Check out another dimension of Karen's versatility on "My body keeps changing my mind" and "Still crazy after all these years", they are un-typical "Karen".

this is the carpenters definitive package, it features mostly their hits but also includes a few garage songs and radio outtakes that are precious

I love the first disc of this set. It has some of their earlier stuff that most people have never heard, like "Caravan". Evelyn Sowles hbcsc202@huey.csun.edu

"From the Top" is one of the greatest cd collections I own. It is a great contribution to music, and to mankind. The set is beautiful; with photos of Karen and Richard, and a moving tribute to Karen from Richard. This is definately a "must have" collection! Karen is greatly missed, but she still lives on. Her voice will never be forgotten.

I've been a fan "From the Top" and I find this the best thing in my extensive collection. I especially love that Richard put on some different tracks of favorite songs, especially on "Let Me Be the One". It is really better than the track on "Carpenters". I will always love their music and I hope that Richard will find more to satisfy the loyal fans.

This compilation is alright but why no "I Won`t Last A Day Without You"? Love the interview...it`s really stilted and funny!!! 1981 MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC medley... what`s happened to Karen`s voice, she sounds so weak especially on the cover of We`ve Only Just Begun. It lacked a lot of life compared with previous recordings!!! Other than that cool
