I love "You're the One", it's probably one of the most gorgeous song ever sung, especially by the most beautiful voice ever to entertain this world! "Where do I go from here?" is also my favorite.

"You're The One" is one of my favorite Karen Carpenter songs! I also like "Slow Dance." Some of these songs were never released on their mainstream albums, yet are wonderful...hopefully Richard will rerecord and/or release some of the other hidden treasures located in the vaults of A&M. "Where do I Go From Here" is a beautiful ballad yet Karen's voice is showing some where and tear here.

I agree that "You''re The One" is one of Karen''s best performance. In fact, it''s probably my favorite. Also on this album check out "Uninvited Guest," "Where Do I Go From Here?," "Kiss Me The Way You Did..." and "When I Fall In Love." Some classic Karen performances here that should have been released when she was alive.
This album was released after Karen Carpenter`s death in 1983.It contains "solo" material she recorded with Phil Ramone(instead of her brother, Richard). However, the album also contains many songs by the duo that are well performed andproduced.
