Comments for Spring Heeled Jack, Static World View

I wistfully remember my days hitting up the tune inn or the webster theatre in hartford to see these guys tear it out on stage. when their second album (songs from suburbia) came out, a lot of people called them sellouts, but if you saw them live, it was all the same people jamming out to the tunes that were always there. it's terribly sad that their drummer (tragedy that his name eludes me right now, for that I feel terrible) passed on, but they were one of the true joys of my high school/early college experience. This album is worth every penny you spend on it, it is just a shame that you wont be able to see them (at the very least (barring a shameful reunion without the origional drummer, who was spectacular) with their main lineup). Either way, buy this album in a heartbeat.
