Comments for The Lell Me Slowlies, I Lost My White Glove

Finally the definite collection of great crooning songs by The Lell Me Slowlies is out! Soulballad lovers all over the world have been eagerly anticiapting the CD-release of the world's least known band. Now we can all enjoy songs like 'Ebony and Ivory' and 'Loose the Grip' in excellent CD quality. Not only do the Lellme's have a fingertip feel for covers, they also manage to write some superb originals like 'The House is rocking, but with what?' and the haunting, love song, 'Lell me slowly with those white gloes on'. The latter is a chilling song about love in glove and all that jazz. Be sure to get the limited edition CD which includes some unseen and quite shocking pictures of The Lellme's in their early days. As an extra bonus, you also get the whole story behind the infamous 15 minute version of 'Yesterday' performed by the Berlin Wall.

This is without-any-sort-of-doubt whatsoever one of the best lelling albums of the last decade, and on cd!!! A great combination of sounds, beats and politically oriented messages. Something anti-globalising global forces should add to their demonstration-activity repertoire!!

This is some kind of wonderful album, full of seductive melodies, e.g. an edgy rendition of a classic Jackson/McCartney-track, 'E & I'. By the way, I have seen the band perform live several times, they're quite a sight (for sore eyes), so don't miss out on the candid pictures!
