well done, but if you expect the power and sense of her previous CDs you will be disapointed.

Tracy Chapman's latest album(CD) "New Beginning" (Cat. No. 61850-2) is unique and inspiring. It is wonderful to see a smiling Tracy on the cover. While her music is not as bitter as the other three albums it is still inspirational in it's own right. I love it Tracy ... Keep it up! PS Also wondering,You performed in Manchecter, NH quite a few years ago. I seem to remember that you sang "Give Me One Reason" at the end of that performance. IDo I remember correctly? Not bad, but it´s not her best. I´m missing the power and the melodic sound of the songs.

Simply divine. Pity the record was not given its due publicity. I find this album, along with the previous great albums, to be absolutely wonderful. They had deep significant messages expressed in an art form that only Tracy Chapman can muster. I look forward to seeing her perform on the 19th may at the Shepherds Bush Empire. It won't be the first time - I only wish she could perform more often. Keep it up Tracy. Can't waut for the next album

Her rich, soulful sounds have made her become one of my absolute favorite artists. Tracy Chapman and her works seem to be unaffected by whole industry and stand apart and alone. Classic, and uplifting. Honesty, in a word.

Great New Album. The Promise and Give Me one Reason are two of the many great tracks.
