A greater album is yet to be seen. I'm going lyric about these tremendous well-written songs. Groove to Nine Acre Court and get high on Bullet Comes. This album is one that makes people go out and form own bands. I just love it!

This is the one . . . the Charlatans have finally found their own sound, and it is FANTASTIC. The combo of organ, bass, guitar and drums have never been better (even if some of the licks are rip-offs of old Zepplin) This is the best CD of 1995. Period.

Charlatans have lost the plot several times, but with this album they catch the reigns and come out with a bloody fine album. One of the best of 95.

Quite simply the best. This album rocks and is the finest stuff the charlies have completed. Although their new stuff may even surpass this, This album remains their best material. What can you say about crashin in' ? Everytime that record is played on my walkman, it makes me wanna dance around in our student union bar with a stupid grin on my face and posing in that typical Tim Burgess stance......that is the effect it has......by Asif (A Charlatan)

This is amazing. Far and away their best one (although Tellin' Stories is pretty damn close) Almost every song has an incredible groove, and Tim's voice has never sounded better. "just Lookin'" followed by "crashin' in" and THEN "bullet comes" must be the best one-two-three punch in history. YOU MUST HAVE THIS CD!

Thank You & Nine Acre Court...you can really get your groove on to these tunes!! Toothache is the shit!! Too bad they didn''t put their best ever b-side on here, BACKROOM WINDOW (you''ll have to get the amazing Crashin'' In single for that my friends) another 11/10 nice work lads. top stuff
One for the ages. The Charlatans return in 1995 with theirbest effort yet, and one of the finer releases by any bandover the past several years. Sort of an "Exile On Main Street"for the 1990`s. A MUST HAVE.
