Comments for Cheap Trick, Budokan 2

This is a compilation of track recorded on the "Budakan" Tour, but weren't on the original album. The album contains many classic tracks which uhh...yeah

Budokan 2 was a particularly exciting album, with some songs made even better by the sheer power of Rick's live guitar playing. Some gems: "Oh, Caroline" & "Downed".

I would have given this a rating of "10" but it's over 15 years too late...

Song selections taken mostly from their debut studio album. Just as good as the first Budokan disc only the production isn't as well done.

Almost as good as Budokan I. You can't beat CT live that's for sure.

Anybody that rags on this disc, just doesn't get what cheap trick is all about...recorded in their phenomenal late 70's phase this disc encapsulates all that was relevant and endearing about the band...i'd say it's actually a better compilation of tracks than the original budokan due to the harder edge material that was more representative of their original direction than the fluffy crap the label chose to emphasize...

great album although i felt a little rushed. if there was gonna be 2 extra songs from a year after budokan included then why not some from dream police ? anyway...if you want the best budokan, get the japanese 2cd complete remastered issue !! absolutely fantastic !! i would love to hear more recent live cheap trick tracks though !! ...keep ''em coming !! ...spelloman
