Comments for Cheap Trick, Cheap Trick At Budokan

E-MAIL: mlkjam
am i the only one who realizes that the cd version is the original japanese, "warts and all" mix from 1978? i wish they'd release the 1979 "fixed up" version that we all grew up with which includes redone vocals on "clock strikes ten", fixed-up zander solos on "ain't that a shame" and a more echoy sound overall. Anybody heard the new gold disc version?

Am I crazy or what? The ''Live at Budokan'' vinyl version that I own for almost 20 years now has some different lyrics compared to the copy I heard some time ago, which also was a vinyl version but has no booklet, only a sleeve with lyrics etc. Also the single ''Surrender'', taken from the album (?) features different vocals. What is this? Are there two different versions of the same album?
