Extemely disapointing follow-up to Chicago Transit authority Much softer and doesnt feature the rock and horns fo the first one. This one kind of put me to sleep after listening to Chicago transit Authority!

II is one of their best musically. Transit Authority rocked, but II was when they become a band

After the blues/jazz feel of the debut album, this has a distinctly more classical feel to it. The only song I'd heard on the album before I bought it was "25 or 6 to 4", which at the time I thought was excellent, but it's probably only about the 6th-best track on the album. "Movin' in", "The road", "In the country" - songs any true Chicago fan can't be without!

I bought this album when it was released, it is their best, it defined them. I saw them perform last night at Pine Knob (Michigan), they were excellent. The material from this album got the biggest response from an appreciative audience comprised of all age groups.
Lots of good Chicago tunes from the early years. A really nice touch tothis album is the classical-type instrumental features near the end of this album. A nice alternative to the popular stuff featured on theirGreatest Hits Album.
