Comments for Chicago, Chicago 16E-MAIL: elm2_4@und.ida.liu.see A great album which really shows how good westcoast- music should sound. Studiomusicians like Toto guitarist Steve Lukather appears on Chicagos first "slick-era" record.E-MAIL: rljm2@hermes.cam.ac.uk David Foster, the producer, certainly had an influence on the album, co-writing 8 of the 10 tracks! "Hard to say I''m sorry" is definitely the best track, "Love me tomorrow" is a bit too similar for my liking, but there are plenty of other good tracks here. You can''t tell me that you haven''t heard "Rescue you" and "Follow me"? You haven''t?? Buy the LP at once!! This album is the first on the Warner Brothers label, and the first where DavidFoster wrote many of the tunes defining the Chicago of the eighties. VocalistBill Champlain also is new to the group on this album, adding further harmony to thegroup. The first sequence is memorable, as well as the classic Hard to SayI`m Sorry.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
