Comments for Chicago, Chicago V

Chicago''s first single LP saw them tighten up the music a bit - the long medley tracks of II and III are no longer here; this has far more pace to it. 10 shorter tracks, and not a bad one in sight! The album may lack the continuity of the previous ones - "State of the union" and "Saturday in the park" certainly DON''T go together! - but there is a great mix of music here. My favourite has to be Terry Kath''s "Alma mater", although "Dialogue" comes a close second.
Chicago`s first single album (CTA to Chicago III were doublealbums; Chicago at Carnegie Hall was a 4 album set).
