Comments for Chicago, Chicago X

E-MAIL: rljm2@hermes.cam.ac.uk
What? A whole year between albums! Chicago''s longest layoff yet, but sadly the album is not one of the best. It''s still very good, but is let down by a couple of the tracks, namely "You get it up" and "Skin tight". In my opinion, these are two of the worst tracks Chicago has ever recorded. Other songs like the Latin-style "Another rainy day...", the frantic "Once or twice", and Terry Kath''s classic "Hope for love". And I haven''t even mentioned "If you leave me now". Oh yes I have!
Album won Grammy for Best Album Cover. James Pankow didlead vocals for `You Are On My Mind,` and Lee Loughnane did`Together Again.` Producer James W. Guercio plays guitar on `If You Leave Me Now` with Terry Kath on bass.
