Comments for Mark Lane, Creepy a la Weepy

Unreal. The best minimal electro I've heard in a long while.

This is a comeback with a vengence and easily his best work. That is saying alot considering he is the one that wrote the minimal electro classic "Sojourn" and released "Who's Really Listening?"

Lane's new CD is a mix of electro styles that makes it hard to put your finger on exactly what he is doing. The music contains layers of meaning and inuendo that are beyond average sophistication, but that has always been the case. Old fans will be in heaven and new ones (the right ones) will have their curiosity rewarded.

Mark Lane's new CD is more advanced in technique, but not so much that it strays from his minimalistic roots. One can still detect the odd feeling from the 80's in his music that is his signature.

I remember when Mark Lane was in the forefront of cassette underground with his "On-Slaught" magazine. Now he delivers this masterwork for his following of minimal freaks. How long can he sustain this hard-on of genius?

Yeah sh*t. This disc will be a collecters item within a few years just like all the rest of the Mark Lane releases and those of you who don't buy it now will be crying about not being able to get one. Frankly I see some justice in knowing that.
