Comments for Cocteau Twins, blue bell knoll

I bought this CD back in '90. The title track, 'Carolyns Fingers' and 'Itchy Glowbo' I just cannot get bored after all this time. 'Heaven or Las Vegas' was my no1 CD but I think this one has slowly superseded it! (Slight correction: Cocteau's country of origin is Scotland!)

Their best. Nothing will ever beat "Cico Buff" or "Suckling The Mender". This was the 2nd CT album I bought, and it''s the one I never get bored with. Heaven Or Las Vegas is great, but this one is perfect.

Yes, the track titles are serious! The Cocteau Twins` breakthrough album sees themsuccessfully mould feedback, breathtaking vocal pyrotechnics and strong melodiesinto a sum greater than the parts. This album would be worth the cost if it only contained Cico Buff, Suckling the Mender and A kissed out Red Floatboat. However,since the remaining tracks miss sheer perfection by only a molecule or two, thisalbum is assured a must-have status.
