Magnificent and melancholy in every way. This album puts you on the set of McCabe and Mrs Miller, a movie that owes much of its classic status to the symbiosis of Cohen's sounds and director Robert Altman's images.

One of the most beautiful set of songs ever recorded. I have listened to this album for over twenty years and still enjoy it from begining to end. Now my 16 year-old son has fallen in love with this music too.

A most enjoyable album. He picks up with folk music where Bob Dylan left off. Personal themes and vivid images don''t allow you to just let the music flow across you. You have to listen. And it is Columbia PC 9533 from 1968.
