Comments for LeFevre, Mylon, Mylon with Holy Smoke

i remember seeing Mylon and Holy Smoke on at Cobo in Detroit and also at the Eastown....I Loved the group!!!really enjoyed the Christian "gospel flavor" of the songs and the way Mylon could really "belt it out"...he was a showman...and this was early 70's...I was born and raised in a strict Christian home...accepted Christ as my Saviour at age 8 at a church camp...and the songs appealed to that part of me....though at this time i was into wine, women, drugs, music and all the things i had avoided until i was away on my own at college in Kalamazoo...but a Prodigal MUST return "HOME" ....3 of those college roomates are now dead...i am nearly 54 years old...have 2 sons and 1 daughter of my own...my father has passed away...and though i regret some of the choices i have made in my life...I WILL NEVER REGRET choosing Jesus Christ as the Lord of my Life...and in a unique way...Mylon's career and his witnes have been inspirational and motivational for me...Thanks Mylon...."train up a child..."YOU KNOW IT!!...oh come angel band...come and around me stand...God works in strange ways...

I got this album from a friend in Fla in 1972 ,,I cand do with out it ,,I lost it for 20m years and finally found it again and bought it on cd ,,I was surprised that I could rememer all of the songs exactly after that long ,,,they have gotten me through many ruff times ,,I have lost the cd again ,but I will find another ,,,God Bless Mylon Lefevre ,,some how he knew that an Iowa boy in Fla that was confused and lonely would always remember these songs ..just keep sweet Jesus on your mind ...thanks Mylon
