Comments for Aerosmith, Rock In A Hard Place

Pro: Rick+Jimmy are good guitar players on this album. Con: Rick looks like he's about to tip over. Maybe the yellow sweater is too heavy Pro: Joanie's Butterfly, when you look at it musically, is brilliant. Con: I keep getting the feeling that Steve Tyler is singing about his weenie Pro: Hard Place recreates a lot of their old styles *and* manages to sound original Con: C'mon, guys, the front cover looks like cheap bluescreening!

This album really stinks! There is only one song on this ... that is worth the electron flow, Lightening Strikes. The only reason the stylus melted on the Brit's turntable was to save him the agony of having to listen to the rest of the album.

Lightning Strikes is great! The rest don''t bother!!!!
As the british press put it..."As soon as the stylus hit the wax, it melted - and my speaker covers blew across the living room floor!"...Honey, you best believe it! Even though this is the only album without Joe Perry and Brad Whitford on guitars, and considering the band`s extremely shaky condition, this one`s a miracle! A real triumph...even if they weren`t cleaned up yet!
