Comments for Coltrane, John, Blue Train

Coltrane often said that this was his favorite of the albums he made as leader.

Simply one of the best.

Perhaps the greatest Coltrane album. It's no coincidence that Trane handpicked the musicians for this album. From the gentle ballad "I'm Old Fashioned" to the exhilarating "Moment's Notice", this record will take you to school on hard bop!

A really good piece of really good music. Strongly recommnded!

This is simply a fine album. Trane is joined by Lee Morganon trumpet, Curtis Fuller on trombone, Kenny Drew on piano,Paul Chambers on bass and "Philly" Joe Jones on drums.Nuff said.
