NOT A BAD ALBUM. THE LIVE WORK HAS MUCH MORE APPEAL THAN THE STUDIO VERSIONS. "KILLING THE BLUES" AND "YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME LONESOME WHEN YOU GO" ARE THE CLEAR WINNERS.

Colvin's duet with folk/country artist Mary-Chapin Carpenter on 'One Cool Remove' is beautiful.

"Window to the World" is _the_ best song on this album. Live tracks are indeed better than studio-glossed versions, but all in all, a good album.
Colvin sings songs, written by others, that have inspired her throughout her career. Some songs are done live, some studio versions.
This is one of my favorite cd's from shawn, all the tracks are great, and show her talent for song interpretation. I especially love her version of the Talking Heads tune This Must Be the Place, I didn't know what a cool song that was untill I heard her version, another fav is the Bob Dylan tune, Your'e Gonna Make Me Lonesome and Satin Sheets and If These Walls Could Talk and, well... all of them are fabulous!!!
