Comments for Connells, The, Darker Days

Darker Days, the Connells debut is a strong album which hinted at the great songwriting ability of guitarist Mike Connell. Hats Off, which kicks off the album is a kick-ass number which sets the tone. Other songs have a quieter, and more melodic feel. Much Easier and 1934 remain among the Connells most pop-like songs, and are quite catchy. This disc is a good investment, provided you have purchased Boylan Heights and liked the material on that classic album.
