Comments for Firebirds, The 31 Flavors

The 31 Flavors is an important album/long forgoten. I don't think anyone even gave it any attention when it was released. It's a cross between many genres but anyone into Hendrix must give this a try. It's raw to the bone. It's the sort of sound that many bands are trying to recreate today but failing badly. The 31 Flavors LP is like a free jam, uncut almost, sometimes a little out of time. The sheer intesity, fuzz, riffs etc will make this shine through. Anyone into 60's psych/rock needs to hear this. If your familiar with more technical sounds like Mahavishnu, Hendrix you will see some light. I highly recommend this to anyone into 60's garage as I've never heard anything quite like it.
